Hi experts !

I have come across a New King tenor that has 'made in germany' next to the serial number 48xxx. It does not have keilwerth written on it, but from my googling I assume it is made by Keilwerth and therefore a New King model 4 from 1963. I think it's nickel/silver plated.

It has a couple a of leaks and needs setting up.

Is this classed as a student horn or a pro horn, in which case it might be worth spending the cash to get it set up properly.

any info welcome or ideas on the value of this horn...

cheers

Would love to see a pic. Can you post some ?

These are good horns, the New King series. Some of my favorite Tenors, really. Pro-calibre horns, all the way. It is certainly worth of an investment to get it playing up to speed. Honestly, almost any vintage horn is worth that investment....
