I have never been a part of an on line group before. I have been playing a long time (professionally 35 years) but have so many bad habits. My style does work for me however. I am looking for ways to get more volume and a brighter tone. I am currently playing a guardala tenor( it's okay, but not the Mark VI or Super 20 that I lost in pawn due to other bad habits(another story altogether). I am using an old metal brillhart level aire 4*. Does anyone have any suggestions

It might be worth talking with one of the mouthpiece gurus to see what they would suggest. There are several here including mojobari and EZ. Or you could call these http://www.mouthpieceguys.com/ guys.

Thanks all.
I just bought three mpcs (a Runyon smooth bore #8, a Runyon Custom #7 and a Berg Larsen 90/M/1). I was able to test drive a Jody Jazz
7* and a Berg 105/SMS/1 which I think were probably to open for me (I'm 56 and no longer gig six nights a week). I hope between the three of these I will find a solution.
