I heard through the grape vine (my repair tec said an announcement was sent around) that Pro Tec is designing a new case to be released in December 2007 --- anyone have any more specifics?

I got an email response from ProTec last week regarding a question I sent them. They are working on an Alto XL that will be a companion to thier tenor version of the same case. The email said they'd origianlly thought it would be ready to go by year end, but that's been bumped forward to May/June '08.

Don't know if this will be the same rumor you heard, but at least it's currnet and the answer came thru the Pro Tec Customer Service email channel.
