Has anyone tried the new Alexander NY reeds yet?
I got a box of #3 tenor and #2.5 soprano today and like them a lot. They could be serious competition to Ricos Jazz reeds. The beautiful tin box alone is worth the money! :mrgreen: All five reeds in each box were useful ... either I got lucky or quality control is good.
There is just one thing Alexander never got right: as soon as you wet them, the printed "3 Alexander NY Made in France" dissolves. Yuck! Can't they use water proof ink??
