You sound like you on both, which is to say that you sound good either way. If you like the buzzer go with it. To my ears, it had a little darker sound, which is nice... but might or might not work for you depending on where and how you gig, what kind of music you play, etc. The link cuts a bit more and might work in a situation where you need to be heard amongst a noisy drummer, etc etc.

I think the LAW ( I no nothing about them ) has more of a hollow core on a number areas on the scale. In comparison the Link has more of a core without that thuddy hollow sound. Im not fond of the LAW with your current setup. I frankly dont find it to be significantly more buzzy...at least not in the recordings.

Now, clean your room mister ;)

Seriously, clean the room and turn off the TV. Then you should face the mic and camera with some clean clothes after a shower.

I like the link better, try different reeds.

I hate the sound of a "LAW Buzzer" in my gig bag anyway.

Its hard to tell from one clip side by side with another with any authority, but to me it seemed like you had more confidence with the LAW which made it sound better to my ears. There are too many other factors to really say for sure, but one on one comparing just these 2 clips, I would say the LAW has the edge.
Add me to the vote for you to clean your room as well!

I agree with SactoPete and Sigmund. In that order. I do agree with whomever said you sounded more confident with the LAW though.

As for cleaning the room.... who cares? Looks a lot better than my room at UNT ever did. Showering optional, except before a gig. Gotta smell clean for the ladies.

Yep. West dorm here. I didn't figure the sheets were ready for changing until they cracked and broke into little pieces. Anyway, if you clean it it's just going to get messy again and then you'll have to clean it again and again and it's a vicious circle. Why clean it maybe 24 times a school year when you can only clean it once - on check out day. :D

They sound the same to me but I'll go with the Buzzer.

If they sounded the same, then it wouldn't matter which one you kept and which one you got rid of. But they don't sound the same. I think the Link is a little fatter sounding. The Link takes more control to get the bottom notes to sound full from what I heard on your clips. Don't know if you need a different reed, the Link tuned-up and/or your sax has leaks. My Florida Link was tamed after a tune-up. It was even better after I got my horn overhauled, too. I know, some one is thinking, "Well, duh!" However, my medium bore hard rubber mouthpiece didn't seem to have a problem with the leaks. I thought it was just the Link.

The Law seems as though it is easier to get the notes to speak and is therefore smoother on the bottom and in the altissimo. The trade off is the tone, though. I noticed how you gave the low notes the "Brecker vibrato" because it was easy to get and stay there.

Bottom line- The Link has that full and fat sound. The Law has a full- modern sound.
