Need some advise

I bought a SDA tenor about a year ago and fell in love with it. I recently came across a Buffet SA 18-29 This horn is in amazing condition I do not beliece it has been relacquered and the engraving is very sharp. It also has engraving around the bell opening, the serial # is 14xxx and from what I have been able to find was made in the 40's It has wire key guards rather than plate. The case is in very good condition and does not have a musty smell. Can any one tell me about the playability of these models and if possible a range of value.
