I moved to Huntsville Alabama 10 months ago from Kanagawa-Ken, Japan and took my Mark VI to the "best shop here" but the work was not up to standards. I have taken my sax back once already after finding at least 3 keys that did not seal. After getting my horn back, there are still some obvious leaks. It was suggested that I drive to Nashville to get my horn repaired but I do not know who is who since I have spent the last 10 years overseas. I am in the Army Band, stationed here in Huntsville looking for a really good saxophone Tech. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I took my repairs to David Dyer when I lived in the Nashville area. He always did great work on my saxes.

if you want one of the best, you could have it sent to my store in Richmond, VA and get the work done by Alvin Swiney. He is the instrument repairman at Sam Ash Music in Richmond, VA. Nashville, TN has a Sam Ash that could most likely send it up to us and have alvin do his thing on it.
