Forum,

I recently got into a decent playing Rovner metal tenor mpc.

If all works out it'll be my power piece.

Now about this lig problem. Does any body use a NON-ROVNER lig with a Rovner mpc.?? I have tried with the Rovner ligs. It doesn't take a very long time when playing sax, to collect a shoe box full of items that "just didn't quite work for us".

I not a big fan of the rubber and fabric ligs. Presently, I'm playing a Dukoff Vibrafee on my Dukoff LD tenor (my ensemble piece) and either a BIOS or Master lig on my Meyer 7. None of which will fit the Rovner tenor.

Take Care,

I tried a Selmer 404 lig ... No go.

You'll see it on eBay soon ..

With all due respect, Pete, that's beside the point. He said he doesn't like them, so let's leave it at that, and help him find what's he's looking for.
Well, unless you know why someone doesn't like something, it's not so easy to pinpoint what would work for them. That's what I''ve found anyway.

There has got to be a music store in Atlanta you can go to and sit around and try ligs all day.
