Neck options for a yamaha (alto)

Im not satisfied with the stock G1 neck on my yamaha 575 (alto). I have heard on this board that a selmer S III neck will work on a yamaha. Can anyone confirm this?

Also, anyone know any good online retailers that stock Series III necks (preferably silver plated)?
