The brass band I'm in did this party a couple months ago, and it's a crazy scene. Now it's my funk band's turn. Four or five different bands, an eclectic crowd, beer/wine and grilled burgers/dogs. There is a "donation", but not sure what that's going to be (but it'll be worth it).

We're set to start right around 10pm or a bit earlier.

Pretty crazy party and it worked out well for us (already got a couple gigs from it). Our warm up act was literally on fire... a flaming baton twirler. The guys in the brass band I play with showed up and joined us on stage for a couple numbers before doing a set themselves. Before I knew it, it was nearly 2am and things were still hopping!

It was only our second gig for this group, but as a bonus someone got the whole thing on tape. Though I'm certain I'm gonna hurt your ears at times, here it is, warts and all:

A bunch of guys from the brass band join in around the one hour eight minute mark... if you can hang that long. Though that tune starts out as a hot mess, it eventually comes together.
