What a drag. I remember seeing her in Hawai'i when she was a teenager or just barely in her 20s. Spindly legs and not widely known. She sang her butt off. Loved her work with Canno9nball. She will be missed.

Very sad day. I love her singing. She was an artist with her own style. in total control of her instrument.

I also loved her work with Cannonball. Sorry to hear of her passing. I haven't thought of her for a long while, but this post brings back some wonderul memories.

I listened to that Nancy Wilson/Cannonball album over and over in high school and was thrilled to see her live in the 1990's at Kimball's East here in the SF Bay Area. Really sad she's gone.

The obit said she was living in Pioneertown, CA, not far from Joshua Tree where I'll be visiting in a couple of weeks. I may have to make a pilgrimage.

Pioneertown was built as a set for westerns some time ago.

These days, just some homes and Pappy and Harriet's. Which is a decent restaurant/burger joynt with a ton of good live music.

Played there with Joey Delgado and some blooz guys recently.

RIP, Nancy Wilson. One of the greats.
