N Mark 6 Logo on the front Bell to Bow ring

:):) Had good look at and play on a 103xxx Mk6 Tenor. British lacquer and totally correct.. However it doesn't have the "Mark VI" stamp on the front lower ring.. Any thoughts chaps? Regards :):)

I have a 87xxx Tenor, French, no engraving, no Mk 6 stamp. I think it makes it kinda unique...

Unusual perhaps where you live, but in Europe it would be quite ordinary...........

It's been said many times on this forum but it still seems to come as something of a surprise to our friends on the other side of the pond that until the late sixties NO French assembled MKVI's had MARK VI stamped (or engraved) anywhere on the sax. No engraving was always an option and quite common in Europe.
