I never thought I would post a video here, as I am not really good enough to be entertaining to a lot of the heavy hitters here. But as it turns out there is a recording of me me playing a song called "don't set up super loud PA systems below my home" that I am somewhat happy with.
I've lived by a busy downtown intersection for a long time, and a couple weeks back this guy parked by my place with a PA system, and it was the loudest most intrusive thing I have ever experienced living here. And I live by a hospital, a fire station and a restaurant that has drunk patrons streaming out making noise on the regular.
He was preaching and yelling political stuff. I tuned out what he was saying, and have no problem with religious people. But this was all I could hear.
Initially I went out and confronted him, but it was naive as his whole MO is to annoy people and put the videos on his youtube channel to get money from his followers. So I was just playing into his hands. I tried calling the cops who told me to call the city. Then I called the city who told me they would look into it within 3 days. So instead of sitting there pissed off I decided to share my negative energy with him and make it less fun for him to be there.
I've never played specifically to annoy anyone before, but I figured the alto would be best as I can't compete with a PA so I needed a high pitch to cut through I bit.
I started by playing a song loudly but this guy was an experienced troll and just started singing along with I was playing. So the rest of the time I was there I stuck mostly to chaotic squeaks and squawks. I was there for about 45 minutes. He was trying to find a way to get me pissed off the whole time. Telling me I was going to hell. Telling me I sucked at playing. Calling me a pedophile. Threatening to punch me if I got too close. Telling me I wouldn't dare do this if I was antifa. Considering him and his friend broke a guys leg the following weekend, I am pretty sure they were trying to get me to do something stupid so they could hurt me. But I've been on the internet too long to care about words, and knew what he was doing so it was easy (and necessary) to stay happy.
He recorded a lot of it, and ended up posting the last few minutes of it on his youtube channel.
I figure that a lot of people have posted here to show off something awesome they did, or looking for feedback. But few people have posted a spite video, so here it is:
