Hi
I just released a new recording and I want to shamelessly self-promote it.
You can hear a couple of tracks at the blog I've set up for it.
I t features myself on tenor as well as:
Jay Hoggard vibes
Radam Schwartz organ
Earl Grice drums

I wanted to do an organ recording but with a twist so I had vibes in the front line instead of another or guitar.
Thanks for checking it out!

Great work on Sideswipe. Nice title that gives a wink to sidewinder (I hope this was intentional!). Great funk feel that's not too precious. Well recorded and mixed.

Little Blue is wonderful as it never lets the feeling go or indulges egos. The wrong players could easily have overplayed this and lost the feeling. It's the difference between a pro who uses their instrument and abilities to make music, and unfortunately the majority of players who think every piece played is just a forum for them to show off their chops. Good example of putting the music/feeling/sound first.

Hopefully sales will reflect the high quality of playing and fine music.

Really nice stuff, Jeff. If I could play like that I would also "shamelessly self-promote it". I particularly enjoyed "Little Blue" and the sweet tones you put out. Best of luck with your new CD!
