There is a pretty good store in Vancouver, WA (just north of Portland) - Beacocks.

Texas guy, you need a geography lesson. Maine is on the opposite side of the country from Washington state.

That's the best response I've ever read on SOTW!

I'll have to check it out.. I'll be in Vancouver (and I DON'T mean B.C.) this coming weekend.

Speaking of which, has anyone here been to the jam session at Clyde's in Portland (Oregon!) on Sunday nights? I might have a chance to get down there this Sunday.

Guilty. It's already been forced to land in Maine, Washington, and British Columbia. It may not have enough fuel to make it back to Maine at this point :blackeye:.

To answer the actual question:

There is a student instrument store in Falmouth, ME, near Portland. But it would be worth it drive he extra hour to see what is Rayburn's (Boston), Northeast Winds (Lynnfield), and Sax Oasis (Les Arbukle in Dedham).
