Muramatsu AD opinions

Hi everyone, I'm in the market for upgrading my old and a bit more worn-out Pearl 661 abs and I came across a perfect condition (in fact, just recently overhauled) Muramatsu AD from 1989. Solid Silver headjoint, body and keywork, split E and offset G. Low C foot joint, plateau keys. Exactly what I was looking for with a steal price. I've read somewhere that this model has been superseded by current production DS. Does anyone own AD and can share some opinions and what to be careful about?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your replies,

I have an AD without the split E -- jealous -- and a wave headjoint. I absolutely love it! I had a Yamaha 481 with a modified headjoint before then and tried a number of flutes before landing on this one.
Hello, can someone tell me the differance in sound between a muramatsu AD v.s. a yamaha yfl 63?
Both has plateau key's and pointed arms.
To me, the Muramatsu has much more Color and depth than any Yamaha I’ve played. In short, I feel more presence and expressive with the Muramatsu.
