Muramatsu AD opinions

Hi everyone, I'm in the market for upgrading my old and a bit more worn-out Pearl 661 abs and I came across a perfect condition (in fact, just recently overhauled) Muramatsu AD from 1989. Solid Silver headjoint, body and keywork, split E and offset G. Low C foot joint, plateau keys. Exactly what I was looking for with a steal price. I've read somewhere that this model has been superseded by current production DS. Does anyone own AD and can share some opinions and what to be careful about?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your replies,

I had a Muramatsu with a wave head in the 80s.
Now it's a Frankenstein with the same keys grafted onto a different body.
The wave (or wing as it was called back then) long gone.
The only thing original other than the key work is the whole foot.
