I'm studying KuKu (by Barry Cockcroft) on my soprano atm. I play a straight Mauriat and I find that some of the multiphonic fingerings marked just don't work on my sax. My teacher has tried too and whilst they are easily playable on her curved sop, the multiphonic just doesn't seem to be there on mine. Does anyone know any other fingerings for:

Lower register Ab with F on top
Lower register Ab with G on top
Lower register F#, E above and Bb above that

Any help, or suggestions of where to look, would be massively appreciated!!

I took a quick look into the "Multiphonics for the Saxophone" book, by John Gross. I don't know if it has these exact combinations of notes, or how well some of them apply to the soprano, but I would highly recommend getting the book and practicing out of it. At the very least it would help condition you to play multiphonics and might make the particular fingerings on that piece easier.
