Hey Guys,

I need an inexpensive, sturdy mouthpiece to keep with my school insturment. Do you guys have any suggestions for a sturdy piece that can be used for jazz band as well as band music. I dont want to over $60.

For cheap, you can get a BARI Esprit for about $15 or a Morgan Protone for around $40. Both are good middle of the road mouthpieces that are made well.

Pick up a used HR link in about a 5 or 6. Should be good for concert and Jazz band and easily found in your price range.

My consistent response to searches for cheap mouthpieces:
Hite Premier HR (or maybe it's even plastic)
Consistently under $35
Consistently problem free.
Consistently unremarkable.
Consistently ideal for school and community band players.

Rico Graphonite if you can't find the mouthpiece Carl H is suggesting.
