mpc question

1053 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Tony5175
I have a tenor Crown New York B5 made by the Woodwind Company which I like very much. I want another as a spare.

However, I don't know if it is original or been modified. The chamber is very open with the sides under the rails really sculpted away.

Does anybody know anything about this mpc?

A photo may help. The one you mention seems like an earlier one with the rounded shank since the sidewalls are rounded out.
Your horns sound like winners!
That looks similar to some of the pre-war ones. Probably is a nice fat sounding mouthpiece. I haven't seen any marked Crown however, only the regular WWco. ones.
