I like my Runyon Custom mouthpiece but I am finding that with my Committee alto it is too bright, and the chamber may be a little small because even when the other notes are in tune, I think the low notes are wanting to playing a bit sharp. I prefer the sound of my Indiana because it is dark, lush, "sweeter" playing. How can I make my Committee play more like this? M.C. Gregory mouthpiece? I am open to all options new or vintage, but I'm basically looking for a darker, fatter tone for jazz, blues, and r&b type stuff. I like to use a 3 or 2.5 reed, so maybe something in a tip of around .75 - .85?
