..trying to make a decision on purchasing a Morgan Vintange for my sop. I'm looking for a warmer fuller tone from my Yani SC991. I currently play a Vandoren SL3 (45 tip).

The Morgan 1c has a 41 tip vs. the 3c which has a 45 tip. I play a Vandoren Java 3.5 and ocassionally a Vandoren Traditional 3.0. Junk Dude is presently out of stock on the 3c, but has the 1c... should I go for the 1c or wait? Btw.. I like a closed tip (I play a Larry Teal on the alto - 55 tip), but not sure if the 1c wouldn't be too closed.

Thanks.

You may have to wait a while for things to get sorted out at Morgan so I wouldn't recommend waiting (Ralph Morgan died recently).

You might also consider looking at Rousseau classical mouthpieces for sop.
