I was using a Rovner Lite on my Guardala (Nadir) King Alto and it was coming across a little stuffy and dark. It just so happened I had purchased some extra Theo Wanne pressure plates when I bought a Durga so I thought, "Why not give it a shot."

Since the Rovner Lite has the open back the pressure plate easily fit in. The result was a decided change in tone. definitely brighter however volume was about the same measuered on my decebel meter (High A maxed out at 11 dec) . Tone felt cleaner. Now it may just me as I primarily play tenor and perhaps after playing for a while it would even out, but I thought I'd throw this out to you all.
