Looking at a Buffet alto sax for sale near me. the number is BCA70711. I could not find what model this is from my search. I don't want to waste the sellers time if the horn is going to be a lower end student model.Thanks in advance.

Did you ask the seller what the model is ?

Or, post some photos here and we can probably figure it out. Or you can cross reference from online pics, perhaps...

FWIW, if it is a model 100 or better (I have a 100 here with BCA 120XXX).....I wouldn't categorize it as a 'low end student model'. Having disassembled and reassembled this 100 on my bench...I like it far better than the new student Yamahas....
