SotW is a great resource for horns - it's where I found my last several horns as well as sold my altos and sops.

Wesley, Mk VI tenors are all over the map regarding tone and projection. Saying you want a Mk VI is like saying you want a Ford - lots of variations within the theme. There are several eras of Mk VI tenors - each with a general vibe.

That said, there is a classic Selmer core. Consider also, depending on your sonic concept, the Serie III and Ref 36. (There are also the Serie II and Ref 54 but, eh, I just don't care for them...)
