I am always surprised of he fact that some person comes to SOTW with a precise question and receives unrequested advise to buy a horn that he was not interested to buy or has requested any opinion about, very peculiar!
Me too, especially suggesting other horns with none of the qualities of the horn the person is seeking.

Of course nobody has mentioned the venerable MK VII tenor....in many ways better than a VI tenor and financially easier on the wallet.

back to the original and continuing folderol...

Buying a horn, or anything for that matter-with price as the determining criteria is too much of a compromise to end up with what one really wants. The MK VI tenor is a professional horn that requires commitment to work towards the skills this professional instrument demands. Price doesn't matter.
