Congrats Mitch. You sure do have a unique sound on soprano, almost Lacy- like, and I like it. I am still fighting the little beast that is soprano
Just a guess, is your mouthpiece and reed setup similar to what Steve used, i.e large tip opening with relatively soft reeds?

Thanks,
It's quite different than Lacey and has evolved over time based more on Liebman but still my own sound. I play a black nickle Keilwerth SX90 one piece (no removable neck). On that recording I was playing on a HR Berg 85/0/M with RJS 3Hard reeds. I now play on an older HR Beechler 80 with same reeds or V16 2 1/2's. My next CD will be out this fall on this set up. My sound is basically the same, slightly different. I've found that Berg's are harder to articulate, for me anyway. The Beechler is easier to articulate and tunes better.
I still have the Mojo HR Link I received in a trade with you. It's a good backup. I also just got an older HR Couf Artist 8 which is good.
