Is it just me or does it seem that Steve is not quite happy with what is happening musically on stage? Looks like he is trying to build up some tension or at least communicate with the rhythm section but nobody reacts the way he wants or would expect, look at him when he finishes his solo...
Miles w/ Steve Grossman ALL BLUES
The first time I saw Miles , Grossman was the horn player. But it was stadium gig opening for Leslie West Mountain and nobody was paying much attention so he cut it short after 20 minutes and that was that.

I remember an interview on YouTube with him telling that he didn't really enjoy to be in Miles' band because of not understanding his actual function on stage and that being the reason why he left.He had a problem playing with a rhythm section of Chick Corea, Dave Holland and Al Foster???
