So, I've been looking for the 'big brother' to an alto I just picked up and have only found a few available for sale around the world (sounds much more dramatic than it is). One of those was made known to me by an email through this site from John Richardson of Miles Ahead Music. So far it has been a very good experience dealing with him. He has sent solid pictures of the horn, pointed out subtle flaws that I couldn't see in the pics, and answered all of my questions no matter how inane. The horn looks to be in great shape and I'm it 2nd-day-ed for a 48 hour trial.

I'll update as things unfold. So far, so good.

I got the horn today. It was packed very well, arrived intact, and very quickly. I've spent the day playing the horn and trying out different mouthpieces on it. I'm going to keep it, I'm very happy with the service I've gotten from M.A.M. and will put them on my list of people to do biz with in the future. They've been friendly, fast, and delivered exactly what they said they would.

Great work, guys!
