I haven't used one before but I've emailed with the owner (Dave Thomas) and he's earned a great reputation in the industry. His capsules are Chinese-made, but with very high quality control. Dave and his team do the electronics in-house in Vancouver. I'm heavily considering eventually getting one of his CM49 tube mics. His u87 and c414 models are very highly regarded and affordable too.
If you were to buy one, I don't think you'd regret it! And I would be very curious about your results after you try it out. They certainly seem like excellent bang-for-buck mics.
Along similar lines, I have a 3U Audio Warbler MKID and thoroughly love it. Another Chinese-made capsule, but made by an excellent Chinese-Australian audio and electrical engineer who does great work. Very worth a look if you want a genuinely good microphone that isn't too expensive.
