Hey everyone!!
Several months back, me and a oudist friend of mine (the oud is the original Arab lute) started an oriental jazz band. Our main objective was to make a mix of jazz, the music many people here love, with the Lebanese Oriental feel that everyone here connects with and can easily recieve. I think we came out with a really nice fusion and a lot of people loved it.
We had a different name at first, but the band is now called meza and consists of 5 members.
Sax (myself)
Oudist
Bassist
Arabic Percussion
Drummer
Anyways, I'm attaching a link to our most recent concert's recordings. Please everyone have a listen and give me your opinion.
