Metal Ligature for Morgan Jazz 7M

I have recently picked up a Morgan Jazz 7M mouthpiece for alto. I am very pleased with it and plan on using it almost exclusively. However, I was disappointed that neither my Brancher nor Vandoren Optimum ligatures fit (too big).

For those of you using Morgan Jazz on alto, what ligs fit well (brand, style)?

I did try using a thick mouthpiece patch on the top of the mouthpiece to allow the Vandoren to fit but it seemed to dampen the sound.

I'm using a Rovner Mark III which works well, but I guess I'm not convinced it's the best choice.

I checked through prior threads but only found general respnses.

Thanks in advance for your responses!!

Right now I'm using a rovner light on mine...works well.

I'm really tempted not to use a mouthpiece patch. It sounds so much better without it. I think I'm going to buy another one just to keep if something happens to my one right now. Right now I'm using electrical tape to keep from tooth marks but that's not going to stop gouges..but I haven't had any on my other pieces that I use without patches.
BG ligs fit well.
Brass Selmer two screw lig
I use the BG on mine with good results. The Rovner ligs can take a bit of the brightness out of the setup if this is something you desire.
Thanks for your responses.
Do both the Traditional and Metal Jazz fit?
Which BG are you all using?
I use the Goldplated BG Traditional Lig. I took my MP in with me when I bought it and test fitted all the ligs in stock until I found one that fit (Might be the one made for Meyer?).

I usually have to do this with all the HR mouthpieces I buy. Many are a real pain to find a match for!

I tried the BG fabric ligs, but found them to behave about the same as a Rovner.
As we speak, I'm about to practice with my trusty Morgan Jazz 7M, Vandoren V16 2.5 reed, and a Rovner EDII lig. Nice setup.
I have no issues using a Vandoren Optimum on my Morgan Jazz 6M....

I find the Vandoren Masters Series inverted lig works well for me on my Morgan Jazz 7M alto. It has made a huge difference over a regular ligature.
I'm using Francois Louis Ultimate ligatures both with my Morgan 7M for alto and my Morgan 7L for tenor. They work great. (Note that they will not work for the Excalibur pieces, which are too narrow.)

I've not tried the FL Ultimate on an alto Excalibur but there is one that fits the tenor ones just fine.
