Sounding good Humbardi. I like your tone throughout, nice lower register. Sounded like you could support with a little more air at times, but overall very nice!

Francisco - Some nice playing by you, you are improving with every tune. Maybe a little more support here and there but good overall dynamics even though that midi sure doesn't do you any favors.

Humbardi -Now your backing I liked! Playing as well, nice phrasing! I think a tune like this is all dynamics and you did those well.

I am a sucker for a 'lovers lament' tune so I found a midi to play over and did this short version yesterday..get it? I did it yesterday! Anyway.. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5305840/Yesterday.mp3

Francisco, your playing is getting better all the time. You can tell you have been practicing..Interesting choice of tune..
Humbardi, Well played with nice tone, plus a nice backing.
Alan, whatever you play you always exhibit great feel and tone.

Here's my version with not one guitar in sight https://www.box.com/s/3s3je55utaw7fazpagdz

Littlewailer :
I enjoyed your overtones in your improvisation. good version. I discovered that Links needs some time to adjust to them and your NY is starting to give you an approach to your own voice.
Keep the good work.

Actually I don't like pop music (everything after the 50's) at all, so this month TOTM is not really in my comfort zone (don't even know if I have one :bluewink:). I also think that it's not a bad thing to try something outside your comfort zone, so here is my take. Played on a 1974 Otto Link Early Babbitt 8*, the mouthpiece where I started on and played for about 20 years (until the mouthpiece GAS started about 3 years ago!).

- Yesterday (Otto Link Early Babbitt 8* - La Voz medium): http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=12306353

With thanks to Chris for the nice and swinging backing :).
