More specifically the second movement. I have a question for those of you that have played it about interpretation. I've been thinking about the second movement as a Baroque-influenced section (Monteverdi style). Recently I came across the idea that the movement had Eastern/Indian influences, and that could make sense as well. What have other people done?

I haven't played it, and probably won't.

However, this is a good discussion to have with Otis Murphy or Kenneth Tse, or even the composer himself. I don't know Maslanka, but from past conversations I've had with Otis and Tse, I can tell you that they are good guys and extremely helpful when approached.
