The Elimona instruments were worked on by Yanagisawa's best. While there are some 800s that are labeled Elimona, most are 880s or 990s. The main differences between the 800 and 880 are the neck octave mechanism and the mechanism that connects Low B and Low C#.

The 800 stenciled for Martin was the same as the 800 produced with Yanagisawa's name on it.

They're good, high-quality instruments.
