How often do you see this happening?
During the WE ARE Music March in Manhattan back in June, one of the marchers has his Martin Alto out. I did a bit of a double-take, but, there's NO mistaking the low C wire key guard, the adjustable thumb rest screw, and the bell/body brace.
Great to see, even in a background kinda way, that folks are out USING these classic horns.
I got inspired to dig out my own Committee and have a honk. Sounds GREAT, but feels really different after playing my Buescher BigB for so long.
I think I might just practice on it for a while longer.
edit: I don't know why, nor can I fix, the orientation...
