You are "grandfathered" into the exception for posting in the Marketplace with fewer that 50 relevant posts, but it requires a moderator action. I will contact them for you.

Of course, it wouldn't be an issue if you were more active. :bluewink:

Everyone/anyone can contact a moderator by clicking on the triangle with the exclamation point. If you meet the requirements for viewing the Marketplace, you will be granted access.

ADMIN EDIT: This no longer works, only the owner of the forum @VSadmin can do this - yuou will need to contact them, not the mod team who cannot do anything about this.

unless you report your own post (which opens an alert for administrators) they may never notice this post

Taken care of. Two more posts to his history, and Leoroel's account would have automatically updated itself to include access to the Marketplace.The rules state six months minimum membership time and at least fifty posts. This is the sort of thing that needs to be PMed to the staff as Andre astutely mentioned.

Hello! I joined this site back in 2017 when I was just getting heavy into jazz, since then this site has taught me a lot of useful things about jazz improv, mouthpieces and the overall history of the sax and I love it. I don't really post as much as I should because I mainly read older posts but recently I have been posting here more. I have just recently discovered that there is a marketplace here that users sell and trade their pieces which sounds awesome because I myself sell and trade some pieces from time to time on eBay so I can become familiar with other pieces, also I have some friends who have some great ones. unfortunately eBay sometimes does not have the best selections haha. I noticed in the rules it says I must have 50 or more posts.. looks like I just made it to 50! any chance I can have access to the marketplace or do I have to wait a little longer? Thanks

Many people assume that, R'man, and a great many more users don't realize how to contact the moderators. It would be nice if it were automatic for the ease of both user and moderators, but it's not.

I've contacted Saxismyaxe and asked him to consider adding some instructions to the Marketplace FAQ about how to contact the moderators. The FAQ does, by the way, explicitly direct newly qualified users to contact the moderators, it just doesn't indicate how.

I, too, wish it were automatic, but that's not possible with the current vbulletin software.

BTW, you can also PM an admin to contact us, but we aren't always on the forum. The report posts function alerts us via email when it's used.
