My Mark VI tenor neck has seen better days. It is time a new one was obtained.
Has anyone got any advice as to where I can get hold of a neck that:
1. Fits (most stock necks are too loose).
2. Has a similar tone to the original Mark VI neck or brighter.

Often whichever replacement neck you get it will have to be fitted to your instrument. This is not a hard job for a good repairman. I had a couple of Mark V1 necks fitted to my V1 alto recently. There are various makers..the only one I've tried was a silver Gloger baritone but I went back to my original V1 neck. If your original neck is unrepairable I would look for another V1 neck but that's me I like original equipment. KMR was selling one on here recently and he's in the UK.

I can say that Tino Schucht in Germany has several models that'll fit your Mark VI perfectly. The TN1/silver bullet model for example gives a Mark VI a more modern feel without sounding shallow or thin. They are full sounding, free blowing and full of power - that's my experience.
