So I just stumbled upon this mark VI soprano listing on ebay and took a double take over the pictures when I noticed that the serials in 2 of the photos were different..... seriously! Am I the only one seeing this or is something fishy going on here? (FYI: the serial in the 9th picture is 150731 and if you zoom into the 12th picture it is 120731, again, I'm not the only one seeing this right?). Might be case of serial forgery to try and up the value of the horn? Or something along those lines?

You can tell its the same horn and the same serial number but with that one change from 5 to 2. Very strange indeed.
