Did all the Mark 7 tenors come with a high F sharp key.I used to own one but i thought it did NOT have one ,it was quite an early one but i could be mistaken whether it had one or not as it was 20 years ago .I recently got one which has the key and its about a 220xxx .

Cheers

I think they all had a F# key other features might have been changed in time but his, I think, was a constant. My mark VII is much later than yours a 300XXX

The VII was the first model with the High F# key standard from Selmer. Could have been special order though, perhaps.

more than likely you had a very late run Mark VI horn. There was considerable overlap on serial numbers in the range of your horn.
