I've used Marca's in the past, but anyone else notice that they seem like they are pushing a lot harder to get their brand out there now?

I use them on your "Rift" Phil

Not a popular reed I know Marca Jazz , but they work for me.

Nice and bright sounding and cheaper than a lot of reeds, they're also available in packs of 5.

I usually get 3/4 good playable reeds from a 5 pack

I will have to give them another try.

In the US I tried Marca Jazz on tenor.

While they seemed to be good reeds they were not a cut that met my preference.

But players use pretty much everything on my pieces. Some of them I like, some I dont.

Reeds are personal.

Kinda like boxers vs briefs!

They marketing rep was a guest on the "Everything Saxophone Podcast". They're definitely trying to ratchet up their marketing. I'll try them eventually but don't think they will say me from the ease of Legere Signatures

Got a box of 5 some time ago. 1/5 was usable. Not great but usable. I use to work on reeds a lot and usually I use 9/10 rigotti reeds but I couldn't bring those 4 marce reeds to life.
