Hey man, I actually think this is a marked improvement over some of the Blue Monk takes you posted recently. I think your time here is better, you're developing melodic statements and sticking with them, and your phrases are lining up better with the beginning and end of the choruses -- especially the first couple of choruses. As to the timing and feel, I think you just have to keep hacking away at it and continue to record yourself. I'm a huge believer in transcribing to improve feel, time, articulation, vocab and intonation. There's a lot of good stuff in Sonny's solo on the original tenor madness album that isn't too technically challenging. Also, you sound good on the Chameleon piece here.
