I have been playing one of the Macsax Aura 3D printed mouthpieces for a couple of years now and really like it. In an email exchange with Eric sometime back, he indicated that the Macsax FJ-V was the same mouthpiece but machined from brass instead of the bronze power based 3D printing material. Neither is still in production but over the long haul I figure the brass will hold up better....truthfully, I'm afraid that the 3D printing will stress crack at some point. I don't see any reviews on the FJ-5 (I have tried the search function) so I'd like to hear if anybody is playing an FJ-5 and what they think about it. My horn is a Comm III and it does seem to like metal Link style pieces, just haven't come across one that moves the needle enough to give up on the Aura.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post and any feedback you can offer!
