The Metallica Lou Reed project
Y'all may have heard of this, and you can listen to the entire album here - http://www.loureedmetallica.com/lulu.php
I'm a fan of weirdness and unusual collaborations n stuff, but this thing is almost unlistenable. I'm surprised by this, because I can usually find something good in anything and to be fair, there are the odd glints of something here, but I'm sorry to say that Lou sounds as if he'd rather be at home sitting in his recliner chair, watching Jeopardy and eating pie.
I've also watched a few clips that were recorded on "Later" the Jools Holland show, and while Metallica acquited themselves pretty well, they seem to be propping poor old Lou up. I wish he - Lou - would stick to doing spoken word.
