oh lord.

thats scary,
it must be fixable though,
i mean, take the bell off and put that n the sort of mould that they hammer the bell on in the factory, heat it up and use that to reform it, get a relacement key and a gloger neck and you have a nice baritone for under a grand

Some wife got really mad.

"I thought I told you, no more saxes!" <runs Jeep over sax>
"Now not only will you be miserable, it's all coming out of your pocket!"

I show no sympathy to you people. :)

Kind of hefty on the shipping charges for this one, considering what's the worst that could happen to in transit at this point?!

Whoof! this is what my 1964 Conn 6M alto looked like after the high school band bari player stepped on it! Alas.

So... Who's going to buy it? My money is on Quinn, he bought that really nasty Mark VI to get restored. Does anybody know if he got that one done?

Silver-sax,

Glad to hear you bought that sax, it's neat to know that one of us got it. What is your plan of action now? Do you need to find a regular Committee bow for it or was the Magna bow different? Best of luck with that project, hope you can get it playing again!

I shall try to find original Magna neck, neck holder, one key and bow for this bari. But may be possibly shall use “The Martin” parts.

Oh! I thought you meant the bottom bow, not the top. I see, that is a bummer. Hope you can find the right parts, there seem to be a number of old school owned martins that may be good donors. Good luck!
