I saw a selmer soloist alto on ebay. I don't know if that's what you're talking about.

soloist is a trademark of conn-selmer for their mouthpieces.
solist is a brand of saxophone that is made in asia.

I know, that's what is weird, it was a selmer soloist alto saxophone. I've never seen anything like it, it had elaborate engravings.
