My repair tech just recently showed me a Gigliotti ligature and we had a lengthy discussion about them. I found out another fellow sax player that I play with uses Gigliotti on both alto and tenor. He raves on them. So, here I am researching these even though they aren't but about 20 bucks. I play on Otto Links and Selmer Metals alot and he told me a size down would work on these.... ie a clarinet lig on my alto and an alto lig on my tenor. I am thinking I might get one of each. I'm not having much luck finding reviews on them though. Does anyone on here have any experience with the Gigliotti ligatures that will take the time to share you opinion of them?

They're OK. I have an alto and clarinet Gigliotti ligature. Try one on your metal mouthpiece. I don't think the clarinet ligature will fit a metal alto mouthpiece. A Rovner ligature made to fit metal mouthpieces would be a better match.
