Will pay for a burnt copy of: Standard Gonz from Blue Note label. Why on earth Blue Note keeps letting great recordings drop from the catalog?

I can find used copies, but they're going for $30 and up, only needing a few songs to transcribe.

Really it's Blue Notes fault on this one. Since this isn't a classic disc circa 60's they'll let it fall from the catalog. I think I've got what I need coming my way. Like I mentioned I just need a few tunes off of this album and a few others that I'm wanting to transcribe and study. You can find this album but it's $30 for a used copy and none of that money is going to the gonz.

Bergonzi recorded this as a demo disc on his own, then offered it to Blue Note. They took it on and distributed it, but obviously didn't give much of a hoot about it.

And it can just get in line as a great Blue Note recording out of print -- Elvin Jones Live At The Lighthouse Vols. 1 & 2 anybody?
