You're in my neck of the woods.

The closest places I can think of relative to North OC would be Anaheim Band (Anaheim) or Sam Ash (Puente Hills).

If you feel so inclined to go to South Orange County, Horn Improvement is a fantastic repair shop that sells new and used horns and may have something that'd fit the bill. I'd ask Jeff (I trust him implicitly), and if you need someone to try a few out for you, I'd be willing.. I live like 10 minutes from there.

Alternatively, there's a Jim's music in Irvine and a Sam Ash in Huntington Beach. Don't know if Whittaker's in Long Beach is still around since it's been so long since I've been there.
