I recently had one of each here from the same client. They seemed to me to be made from 2 different densities of metal.
The Florida also had way more material inside it.
They were similar in that both were god-awful in terms of facing and finishing. The Florida baffle was a shape I can't even describe, way high on the right side and way low on the left.
I thought the Florida had that really good Dukoff sound when it was done. The modern one was good too, but there seemed to be something extra in the Florida, a little more "jump", maybe.
